Therapy is a place to heal
Did you grow up in a chaotic family?
Are you grieving the family you wish you had or a family member who is still alive?
Do you have an inner critic that is meaner to you than anyone else ever could be?
Do you feel chronically stressed and exhausted?
Are craving inner peace and confidence?
“You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become.”
I am here to support you
I’m Allison and I’m passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of their relationships, reclaim personal power and cultivate healthier patterns of coping after trauma.
In my practice, I focus on helping adults from chaotic families in the following areas:
Understanding family dynamics
Setting boundaries
Managing guilt and shame
Developing coping strategies
Healing from childhood wounds
If you’re ready to break free from patterns of the past and create a more fulfilling and authentic life, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Together, we’ll explore your goals, identify areas for growth and start your next chapter.
My Background
Having a therapist that you trust has a huge impact on the success of therapy! My clients appreciate my non-judgmental and relatable approach as they process difficult experiences.
In my career, I have done different forms of therapy and teaching. I have also worked with children and their families to improve communication and emotion regulation.
I worked in both inpatient and outpatient eating disorder facilities during my internship. where I ran group therapy and worked with clients individually on eating disorder goals.
I have seeing clients in my private practice since I was a student therapy.
My Credentials
I received my Masters in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
I am trained in Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Intuitive Eating.
I use a combination of these techniques with each client, based on their needs and preferences.
